The NEW LOGO!MAT Rotate Unit can be implemented for a number of uses within your conveyor system. Rotate Units allow a customizable part flow and are a great way to keep your system open to future improvements. Rotate Units can function as diverters and intersection within one to four (1-4) adjoining tracks, reverse pallet flow and allow for orientation manipulation, so operators or robots can perform desired operations from multiple sides of a work piece. With selecting only a Diverter, Junction, Intersection or Lift & Rotate Unit, your company will not be as flexible for future system growth as your product line expands / changes. Our goal is to make a flexible system in which our customers can easily grow and make continuous improvements simply and efficiently. The LOGO!MAT Rotate Unit is available in our three L - Series sizes NW229, 286 and 400, whereas just the short NW400 pallet fits on the Rotate Unit.

Ease of Use / Mechanics:

Rotate Units come in a clean / compact design while containing all required mechanical components to perform desired functions. The drive motor and all other possible add-ons are contained within the Rotate Unit to keep the unit from unnecessary wear and tear while in operation. The drive train contains a friction style clutch to allow for adjustable torque factors to suit different work piece weights. With all the necessary components held within the unit we have eliminated possible pinch points for operators. While the Rotate Unit can be used instead of a Lift & Rotate Unit, the Rotate Unit performs the same function without the lifting motion which is often a safety concern. In a situation where air pressure is lost the Lift & Rotate can drop parts and cause accidental injury to operators with possibly damaging a work piece. Safety is a major focus at LOGOMAT and we strive to provide the safest unit and system for your company.

Add-On’s:

Controls are not a part of the standard deliverable, however our Rotate Units can be integrated with our LOGO!MAT Intelligent Terminal Box (ITB) Controls Concept. The LOGO!MAT ITB can take your standard system into being a personalized smart system. With using our ITB Controls Concept you will be getting a plug and play system with all your needed functions. Customers will be a part of the development as we take your input for part and pallet flow and part operations to develop a safe and efficient system. With utilizing our 30 years of experience in conveyer systems we can, and will, develop a product which will be delivered pre-tested, pre-wired and most efficient. With the system being pre-tested and pre-wired we ensure to cut start up and installation times down on your end and guarantee a smooth running system from day one with our Intelligent Terminal Box Controls Concept. The new standard component in our L - Series is an all-rounder and an alternative for many of our other standard features. This new Rotate Unit combines the features of a corner, a diverter, a junction, an intersection, a rotate and a track rotate in one unit.

Driven by an electric motor, the rollers drive and stop the pallets on top of the fully enclosed rotate plate. A separate motor which doesn’t need a VFD turns the platform via a friction clutch and a shot pin locks the turn unit in place.

LOGO!MAT Walk-On - Series: Diverter and Junction Unit


diverter-junctionThe LOGO!MAT Diverters and LOGO!MAT Junctions are used in the LOGO!MAT Walk-On Roller Conveyor to divide or merge conveyor segments. Including fully walkable covers, made from wood or steel are the only difference between the L - Series and the Walk-On Component.

 

 
 
 

 

LOGO!MAT Walk-On Diverter Unit


Our innovative Diverter technique enables you to connect different conveyor zones effectively and allows pallets to turn off and on to another perpendicular conveyor track. The pneumatically driven pivoting arm swings into the conveyor track and directs the pallet on to an adjoining track. In the case that the pallet should not turn, the diverter arm stays in the closed position or moves out of the conveyor track so that the pallet is able to continue straight. The pneumatic actuation is no issue in regards to pinch points since the Walk-On Conveyor Track is completely covered.

In the area of the Diverter, fixed driven rollers are used to make sure that the pallet passes the Diverter. The spaces between these driven rollers are filled in with protective covers for safety reasons. The speed of the Diverter arm is adjustable with air flow or a frequency converter.

The LOGO!MAT Walk-On Diverter can also be fairly easily installed in the future if there is a need to expand the conveyor line.

LOGO!MAT Walk-On Junction Unit


Our innovative Junction enables you to connect different conveyor zones effectively and allows merging two perpendicular conveyor tracks. A LOGO!MAT Junction consists of a free pivoting arm which swings into the conveyor track and directs the pallet on to an adjoining track. It also allows a pallet to continue straight in the closed position. It gets operated by the pallet itself and doesn’t need to be powered or controlled.

To ensure that the pallet safely passes the Junction the rollers in the Junction areas are fixed driven rollers. The area doesn't build up any pitch points because the swing is covered by the walkable covers.

The Junction can also be fairly easily installed in the future if there is a need to expand a conveyor line.

Our LOGO!MAT XL 2-way Diverter is an innovative and robust component to merge two conveyor tracks together or to split one conveyor track into two. The pallet gets diverted or merged actively in a 90 degree angle while keeping the pallet orientation.

The 2-way Diverter consists of a dual-corner assembly that can be moved electrically on a linear guide rail. For safety reasons, the electrical drive is done through a mechanical friction clutch to archieve low operational travel forces. Guarding is only necessary if it is required by the customers' safety regulation. The unit is designed for minimal moving forces.

Both end positions are sensed by inductive sensors to ensure a pallet flow only if the double-corner is in the right position.

Fixed driven rollers are required in the area of the 2-way Diverter for safety reasons and to allow a proper transfer of the pallet on the turn. Optional roller covers can be used to fill the gaps between the rollers.

The adjustable, built-in friction clutch limits the opening force of the diverter arm and makes the unit safe for non-guarded applications. End position sensing is possible and can be used to avoid pallet flow if the arm is blocked in the intermediate position.

The LOGO!MAT Junction can also be fairly easily installed in the future if there is a need to expand a conveyor line.
